A die-hard 311 fan since 1994, B Love has seen nearly 200 311 shows. In addition to editing Enlarged to Show Detail 3, Brandon (aka “B Love”) has edited several videos and short films for 311 including the video for the band’s single "Five of Everything” (from the Stereolithic album) and the behind-the-scenes making of the "Too Much To Think” video (from the Mosaic album). The result is a truly unique film that is made honestly with love by both the band and the fans. As a final tip of the hat towards the fan involvement in creating this film, Wayne deferred almost all of the editorial decision making to longtime 311 community member, Brandon “B Love” Hardin. Many of these interviews with fans are not only featured in the film, but provide the driving narrative. Inspired by what he saw as a huge fan family, he laid down the roots of what has now become ETSD3 by asking a cross section of longtime 311 fans to express their POV on the community, and how it has affected their lives. Wayne is inspired by community, and focuses on stories and images that shed light on the human need for connection. He’s captured intimate footage with the band and performances from several 311 Days and 311 Cruises, and helped orchestrate a unique crew of fan filmers to capture the bands performance of “Transistor” at the PowWow Festival in 2011. Wayne used to manage 311’s website in the early 2000’s, sparking a friendship that led to the band inviting him to film video from their concerts and events. Wayne has has shot and directed 100+ short music films with the likes of Mark Ronson, Brazilian Girls, The Roots, Norah Jones, Mumford and Sons, Chris Isaak and The Bonnaroo and Outside Lands Music Festivals.
